Situated at the top edge of the town, we are located right next door to Bishop Auckland General Hospital.
We are heavily involved in community work and have produced free meals each week over the course of lockdown and still continue to do so. We also have foodbank style facilities offering fresh produce for anyone who would like to take it or knows anyone who would benefit from it.
Wednesdays are our community days and include social groups, gardening groups, litter-picking groups and numerous other activities.
Sundays sees us offer weekly in-church services. Months which have five weeks see the fifth service held at Hamsterley Baptist Church as a joint event. We also host joint services with Bishop Auckland Methodist Church on alternating occasions as a special event.
Tuesdays offers a Bible Study group for those of you who wish to explore the gospel more fully or feel in need of some spiritual refreshment and guidance.
We have plans to expand and offer more community-related facilities in the coming days and welcome all who would like to be involved.
